How to delete your account on the web
- Log in with your Chefbase account email.
- Open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account.
- Read the summary, type DELETE and confirm.
Deletion is immediate. After confirmation it is not possible to recover the account or its contents.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open Chefbase and tap the profile photo in the top right.
- In the Account section tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Data we delete
- Profile: name, username, email, bio, social links and photo.
- Recipes created with that account.
- Cookbooks, meal plan, shopping list and preferences.
- Login sessions and subscription status saved on Chefbase.
Data that remains
- Payments and receipts remain with Apple, Google Play and the subscription manager, according to their policies.
- An active Chefbase PRO subscription does not close with the account. It must be cancelled from the subscription settings on Google Play or the App Store, otherwise renewal continues.
- We may retain, for the time required by law, the minimum data related to tax obligations or service security.
If you cannot log in
Write to [email protected] from the account's email address, with the subject «Chefbase account deletion». State the email you registered with. We will verify the request and complete the deletion.
